From 3 Pounds to 3 Years

Make an on-line slide show at www.OneTrueMedia.com

Three years ago Josh and I received the most amazing gift, Elizabeth. Although her road started out a little rough, she has never shown any signs of letting something like being born 11 weeks early slow her down. She has taught me so much in the past three years about grace and determination I can only imagine what the future holds for our Angel. Elizabeth, Daddy and I are so proud of the little girl you have become, we love you so much. Thank you for making me your Mommy. Happy 3rd Birthday!

The Swing Set

For Elizabeth's third birthday we decided it was time for her to have a swing set. So after doing some research I found what I thought would be the perfect one, and it is, the only bad thing I have to say about it is putting it together is a nightmare! Thankfully my father and mother in law and my husbands' best friend Scott volunteered for this task. Of course now they are all cussing me and of course Josh for the 2 day job it turned out to be, Josh we definitely owe them for this one! And a special thanks to Jace for all his help everyone really appreciated you pitching in!!

My Princess Birthday Party!

These are the words that I have heard at least twenty times a day for the past month. Elizabeth has been so looking forward to her princess party for all her little friends, so on Saturday we had ten of her little friends over to a local gym for her party. They all had such a good time running and jumping and eating....needless to say I will be hearing about the princess birthday party for longer than I thought.

Schools Out For Summer!!!

Elizabeth's Time for Twos came to an end this past Thursday with a Carnival themed party. Being the room Mom of course I was in charge (because I am not busy enough), the kids had a blast playing with the Moon Bounce and all the Carnival themed games. Elizabeth especially loved the duck pond (OK bucket) and decided it was the perfect place to cool down on the hot day. Thank you Ms. Debbie for being such a great introduction to school you have definitely laid an amazing foundation! And of course a big thanks to my Mom who drove down to help with the parties, I could not have done it without you!

Practice, Practice, Practice....

I caught Elizabeth in the act today...Singing Happy Birthday to Lizzie in front of her play birthday cake. Think she is excited for her birthday party this weekend? And yes she is dressed up like a bride, or as she calls it princess bride....

Elizabeth and Jace's New Pad!

For Elizabeth's upcoming birthday Grammie sent her this new play house. The kids were so excited about it I could barely get it together! So thanks Grammie for the new toy, but for Mommy's sake next time could you buy something already assembled?!!!

Annual Pig Pickin'

Last weekend I loaded up the kiddos and headed for the great state of South Carolina. Every year my in laws throw a pig pickin' for their family and friends and since we have been absent for the past two this was our return appearance. It is hard to believe that the last one we went to Elizabeth was just a little baby...What a great time we all had, eating visiting and of course feeding the horses. Since I am definitely a "city girl" it is, lets just say different when we visit the country...the kids have coolers as swimming pools, think that a water hose is the best toy on the market, and don't need bathing suits. Hopefully next year Josh will be with us to enjoy watching his kiddos play with their cousins and Uncle Jack and run without fences....
