In honor of my wonderful Hubby's return this month, I thought I would list seven things he has missed since he has been gone the past seven months.
1. Jace's 1st Birthday, we celebrated a month early but he did miss the actual day...Plus our little guy has done so growing and developing since he left.
2. Elizabeth's hospital stay. Probably the hardest thing he missed while gone was not being home for his little girl when she was sick and scared.
3. The Annual Family Pig Pickin'. Definitely one of Hubby's favorite events. What is not to love family, a ton of food and carefree summer fun.
4. Elizabeth's third birthday. This was the first time he missed his princess's birthday in the past three years. Seeing her excitment over the swing set and her princess party was definitely something I wish he could have experienced.
5. Our big adventure to Maryland and Myrtle Beach. Seeing the kids play in the sand and fall in love with the water.
6. My knee surgery. Grammie said after this she is done with deployments (I don't know what she is talking about...2 pregnancies, one preemie, one Jace and a knee surgery, what's the big deal?)
7. Elizabeth's first day of preschool. The one positive out of this is knowing he will be home to see her first day of Pre - K. He is not going to believe how much she has changed in these past couple months, I am looking forward to their first face to face conversation!
After three long years of deploying we are finally at the end of what feels like a lifetime of worry and holding our breath. Only a little bit longer!!!!!!!

I am so happy that these months of waiting are finally over! I will have to call you so we can catch up! i cant wait to see and hear how wonderful josh's homecoming is/was! i have chills thinking of it! and man oh man i remember it being less than a month away for will to come home, they days couldnt pass fast enough. i am so proud of you for staying so strong for your man. what an amazing women you are,, josh is truly blessed! we love you and miss you so much. your new web page rocks! and man elizabeth is getting soooo big. UHHHHHH we miss you! rc
