Last year my mom and I started the tradition of making cookies with Elizabeth the weekend before Christmas. After last years attempts at making the perfect cut out cookies failed I made sure I had enough cookie supplies this year just in case. Well I think we master it! Elizabeth and Jace had such a good time rolling out the cookies and telling us what cut out they wanted. Even Daddy helped with the decorating. Can't wait till next years!

A Hayride Through the Lights.
Elizabeth and I got to go to a local farm with some of her classmates last week for a hayride that goes through a beautiful light display. It was the perfect night (almost 60 degrees), we had so much fun singing and enjoying the awesome company and beautiful scenery!
A Christmas Dance Recital
My little performer had her first "Baby Ballet" dance recital last week and of course, she didn't disappoint! She got a little distracted in the beginning but by the end was all about the attention. When she got off stage she quickly asked, "Can I do it again?". Daddy and I couldn't be more proud of our little ballerina.

A little bittersweet because when new that when we returned home Josh would finally have to go back to work....we really enjoyed the month he was on leave and now have a countdown till Christmas leave starts!

Good vs Evil!
Since this is the probably the last Halloween I get to pick out the kids costumes I decided on good vs evil or an angel and a devil! They both had a great time going house to house getting their candy, both guarded their pails with everything they had. I love that they are old enough know to enjoy the holidays and finally understand. Needless to say I can't wait till Christmas!!!!
